Monday, Feb. 6th-
- JV Girls and Boys Basketball teams will travel to Keokuk.  Games will begin at 6:00 PM, bus will leave HTC at 4:45 PM
- Jr. High Boys Basketball teams will travel to Central Lee.  Games will start at 4:30 PM, bus will leave HTC at 3:30 PM
Tuesday, Feb. 7th -
- JV/Varsity Boys Basketball
teams will host Notre Dame, games will begin at 6:00 PM
***Homemade tacos will be served out of the concession stand beginning at 5:30PM
- Jr. High Boys Basketball team will host Danville (Make-up game)  4:30 PM
Thursday, Feb. 9th -
- Girls Varsity Basketball team will host New London in Regional play.  Game will begin at 7:00 PM, $5 admission for everyone, no passes accepted.
- Jr. High Boys Basketball team will host New London, games begin at 4:30 PM
Friday, Feb. 10th -
- JV/Varsity Boys Basketball teams will host Waco in the Southeast Iowa Shoot-out.  6:00 PM start time.  Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students, no passes accepted.
Monday, Feb. 13th -
- Jr. High Boys Basketball team will travel to West Burlington.  Game begins at 4:30 PM, bus will leave HTC at 3:25 PM

HOLY TRINITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Faculty & Staff

Tracy Dingman
Mrs. Dingman will be teaching kindergarten again this year. She graduated from Iowa Weslyan College with a B.A. degree in elementary education. Tracy is married to John Dingman, and they have three beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include scrapbooking and working outdoors. Tracy likes to spend her free time with family and friends.

Julie Freesmeier
Mrs. Freesmeier will once again be teaching 2nd grade at Holy Trinity Catholic Schools.

Sharon Groene
Mrs. Groene graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Sharon taught 25 years at Aquinas Elementary prior to becoming a Holy Trinity Catholic School teacher. Sharon received a recognition award for Excellence in Teaching from the Belin-Blank Center in Iowa City in 2007. While Mrs. Groene has taught grades 1-4, she is currently the Talented And Gifted Instructor at Holy Trinity Elementary in West Point.

Teri Holtkamp
Mrs. Holtkamp graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a B.A in Education.  Teri will be teaching in the 4th and 6th grades this year.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jean Humphrey
Jean Humphrey was a dedicated teacher with the Aquinas School System for 32 years prior to becoming a faculty member for the Holy Trinity Catholic School System. She received her degree from Quincy College in 1973. Mrs. Humphrey teaches 1st Grade.

Sally Knustrom -
Sally Knustrom has taught in the Aquinas School System for 19 years before becoming a part of Holy Trinity Catholic Schools.  Sally graduated from Central College in 1985 with a B.A. and an Early Childhood Endorsement.  Mrs. Knustrom teaches Kindergarten.

Pat Krogmeier
Pat Krogmeier dedicated 25 years to the Marquette School System prior to becoming a teacher with Holy Trinity Elementary School.  This year Pat will be a resource teacher.  Ms. Krogmeier graduated from St. Ambrose College in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Eduction and also received a Reading Endorsement.

Lynn Meierotto
Lynn Meierotto graduated from Clarke College in Dubuque Iowa with a major in Mathematics and Elementary Education. She taught in the Aquinas system for 27 years before becoming a member of the Holy Trinity faculty. She is on the ELI (Every Learner Inquires) commitee for the state initiative for Science. She enjoys cross-stitching,reading, and camping. She's involved as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's and Joseph parish. Mrs. Meierotto teaches 3rd grade.

Sara Mohrfeld
Sara Mohrfeld taught at Marquette 6 years prior to teaching for Holy Trinity Catholic Schools.   Mrs. Mohrfeld graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and teaches 5th grade.   Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Mike Moylan
Mike Moylan had dedicated 30 years to the Marquette School system serving as the Jr. High Athletic Director and K-6 Physical Education Teacher. As a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic School System, Mike continues as the Middle School Athletic Director (5th-8th grades), as well as teaching PE. Mr. Moylan received his degree from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State ) in 1970, in BSE, Physical Education. Mike is listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers multiple times and a Burlington Hawk Eye Teacher of the Year nominee in 2003.

Emily  Otte - Band
Getting the Holy Trinity Catholic Jr/Sr High Band back into shape has been thanks to Emily Otte.  Emily is no stranger to the halls of the HTC Jr/Sr High building because from 1995-98 Mrs. Otte was a teacher at the then, Aquinas Jr/Sr High.  Since that time Emily has had three children, returned to college at Western University and received a master’s degree and has come back and, lucky for HTC, settled in Fort Madison . Each year HTC participates in several Honor Band events; including The St. Ambrose University Honor Band, Southeast Iowa Super-Conference Honor Band and Mt. Pleasant Honor Band.  Mrs. Otte was happy to report that band member participation has shown an increase at all levels this year.

Judy Peck
Judy Peck taught at Marquette for 1 year before becoming a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Teaching Staff. Mrs. Peck graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1978 with a Bachelor of Music Education. Mrs. Peck teaches Music and Art.

Linda Peitz
Linda Peitz graduated from Quincy College in May of 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education.   She taught 26 years in the Aquinas School System before becoming part of Holy Trinity Schools. She is the 6th grade teacher.
Linda is an active member of St. Mary's parish in West Point where she serves as a lector and  Eucharistic Minister.
Linda and her husband have lived in rural West Point since 1978.   They have two grown children and a grandson.   Her favorite hobbies are reading and watching sports - especially St. Louis Cardinal Baseball!

Karen Schumaker
Karen Schumaker taught in the Aquinas School System for 26 years prior to teaching at Holy Trinity Catholic Schools. Karen graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with majors in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. Ms. Schumaker is active in the Sacred Heart Parish as a song leader, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, member of the Adult Choir, Youth Choir Co-Leader, Altar & Rosary Society, and Liturgy Committee. Karen was a recipient of the Golden Apple Teacher Award presented by WGEM T.V. Ms. Schumaker teaches 2nd grade.

Barb See
Barb See graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. She had taught within the Aquinas School System for 26 years prior to becoming part of the Holy Trinity Catholic School System. Mrs. See teaches 4th Grade.

Theresa Twaddle
Theresa Twaddle received her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University in business education and a master’s degree in instructional technology and telecommunication from Western University.  Most recently Mrs. Twaddle has received a National Board teaching certificate in career and technical education. 
When asked about her upcoming role as ECC Director and Elementary Principal for Holy Trinity Catholic Schools, she had this to say, "I am very excited to be part of an administrative team for an organization that has a proven record of excellence and progressive education. The traditions established here not only ensure a commitment to the growth of students but also establishes the value in education. I look forward to being involved in the Holy Trinity communities and provide direction and leadership for our families and students."
When she isn’t busy with school activities, Theresa likes to spend time with her family.  She especially enjoys water sports including swimming and boating and also likes some quiet time to read a good novel.
