- 9/JV Volleyball at Central Lee, 5:30 PM start time, bus will leave HTC at 4:25 PM
Tuesday, Sept. 14th
- Varsity Volleyball Triangular HTC hosts Van Buren and Harmony.  Games begin at 6:00 PM,  HTC plays 1st and 3rd.
Thursday, Sept. 16th
- Cross Country at Fort Madison Invitational at Rodeo Park begins at 4:30 PM
- 9/JV/Varsity Volleyball at central Lee. 5:30 PM start time, bus leaves HTC at 4:25 PM
Saturday, Sept. 18th
- Varsity Volleyball at Keokuk Invitational 9:00 AM start time, Bus leaves HTC at 8:25 AM.  HTC plays 2nd, 3rd and 6th.

Faculty & Staff

Karen Boston-Kemple
Karen will be teaching 3rd grade during the morning and resource in the afternoons this year.  She is a graduate of Ohio State University with majors in Elementary Education and Natural Resources and a K-8 reading endorsement.  Karen lives with her family in Mt. Pleasant and had been a sub in that system for several years.  Her full-time teaching experience came at Winfield-Mt. Union as a Talented and Gifted Instructor.

Tracy Dingman
Mrs. Dingman will be teaching kindergarten again this year. She graduated from Iowa Weslyan College with a B.A. degree in elementary education. Tracy is married to John Dingman, and they have three beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include scrapbooking and working outdoors. Tracy likes to spend her free time with family and friends.

Sharon Groene
Mrs. Groene graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Sharon taught 25 years at Aquinas Elementary prior to becoming a Holy Trinity Catholic School teacher. Sharon received a recognition award for Excellence in Teaching from the Belin-Blank Center in Iowa City in 2007. While Mrs. Groene has taught grades 1-4, she is currently the T alented A nd G ifted Instructor at Holy Trinity Elementary in West Point.

Teri Holtkamp
Mrs. Holtkamp graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a B.A in Education.  Teri will be teaching reading and religion to the 4th and 5th graders.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jean Humphrey
Jean Humphrey was a dedicated teacher with the Aquinas School System for 32 years prior to becoming a faculty member for the Holy Trinity Catholic School System. She received her degree from Quincy College in 1973. Mrs. Humphrey teaches 1st Grade.

Sally Knustrom -
Kindergarten Teacher
Sally Knustrom has taught in the Aquinas School System for 19 years before becoming a part of Holy Trinity Catholic Schools.  Sally graduated from Central College in 1985 with a B.A. and an Early Childhood Endorsement.
Mrs. Knustrom teaches Kindergarten.

Pat Krogmeier
Pat Krogmeier dedicated 25 years to the Marquette School System prior to becoming the 2nd Grade Teacher with Holy Trinity Elementary School. Ms. Krogmeier graduated from St. Ambrose College in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Eduction and also received a Reading Endorsement.

Lynn Meierotto
Lynn Meierotto graduated from Clarke College in Dubuque Iowa with a major in Mathematics and Elementary Education. She taught in the Aquinas system for 27 years before becoming a member of the Holy Trinity faculty. She is on the ELI (Every Learner Inquires) commitee for the state initiative for Science. She enjoys cross-stitching,reading, and camping. She's involved as a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary's and Joseph parish. Mrs. Meierotto teaches 3rd grade.

Sara Mohrfeld
Sara Mohrfeld taught at Marquette 6 years prior to teaching for Holy Trinity Catholic Schools.   Mrs. Mohrfeld graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and is the building coordinator.   Sara enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Mike Moylan
Mike Moylan had dedicated 30 years to the Marquette School system serving as the Jr. High Athletic Director and K-6 Physical Education Teacher. As a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic School System, Mike continues as the Middle School Athletic Director (5th-8th grades), as well as teaching PE. Mr. Moylan received his degree from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State ) in 1970, in BSE, Physical Education. Mike is listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers multiple times and a Burlington Hawk Eye Teacher of the Year nominee in 2003.

Melissa Palmer
Mrs. Palmer will be teaching 5th grade this year at Holy Trinity.   She graduated from Culver-Stockton College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Middle School Math and Social Studies. She lives in Keokuk with her husband.  She is a member of All Saints Parish and enjoys riding horses.

Judy Peck
Judy Peck taught at Marquette for 1 year before becoming a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Teaching Staff. Mrs. Peck graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1978 with a Bachelor of Music Education. Mrs. Peck teaches Music and Art.

Linda Peitz
Linda Peitz graduated from Quincy College in May of 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Special Education.   The 2008 school year marked her 30th year as an educator in the Aquinas and Holy Trinity School Systems. She is on the ESC (Every Student Counts) team and has joined the Just Ask Science initiative through University of Missouri Saint Louis.  This year she is teaching 6th grade.
She is an active member of St. Mary's parish in West Point where she serves as a lector, eucharistic minister, and SCRIP volunteer.
Linda and her husband have lived in rural West Point since 1978.   They have two grown children who are graduates of the Aquinas School System.   Her favorite hobbies are reading and watching sports - especially St. Louis Cardinal Baseball!

Jane Sanford
Jane Sanford received her Bachelor of Music from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI and has taught in the Milwaukee Public Schools, Burlington, IA Community Schools as well as the former Aquinas Elementary School. Currently Jane teaches K-3 general music at Holy Trinity. Mrs. Sanford also gives private piano lessons.
Jane and her husband have two grown daughters. Her hobbies include reading, walking, stitching, and traveling.   She also enjoys volunteering several times a month at the Food Pantry in Ft. Madison.


Karen Schumaker
Karen Schumaker taught in the Aquinas School System for 26 years prior to teaching at Holy Trinity Catholic Schools. Karen graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College with majors in Elementary Education as well as Special Education. Ms. Schumaker is active in the Sacred Heart Parish as a song leader, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, member of the Adult Choir, Youth Choir Co-Leader, Altar & Rosary Society, and Liturgy Committee. Karen was a recipient of the Golden Apple Teacher Award presented by WGEM T.V. Ms. Schumaker teaches 2nd grade.

Barb See
Barb See graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. She had taught within the Aquinas School System for 26 years prior to becoming part of the Holy Trinity Catholic School System. Mrs. See teaches 4th Grade.

Bob Soule
Mr. Soule graduated from Truman University. Mr. Soule retired from the Keokuk Community Schools in 2006. While at the middle school his bands were invited to perform twice at the Iowa Bandmasters Conference in Des Moines. He also served as Iowa Bandmasters State Chair for Middle School/Junior High Affairs. After retirement Mr. Soule worked part time in a music store and then started missing working with students. He was excited about the opportunity of coming to HTC Elementary and again teaching instrumental music in grades 5 and 6
