HTC Preschool and Pre-K Update

Important Updates for Holy Trinity Catholic Early Childhood Center (ECC) Families

We’re excited to share that big changes are underway at Holy Trinity Catholic ECC. Plans are moving forward to build a new facility in the same location as our current building. Fundraising efforts will begin soon, followed by the demolition of the existing building.

During construction, our Preschool and Pre-K programs will temporarily move to Wagner Hall. Though not ideal, this solution ensures continuity while we prepare for the new building. Wagner Hall is a newer facility, which simplifies the transition, but we still need to follow a few key steps before moving in:

  1. Code Study – To be completed by our architect.

  2. State Fire Marshal Inspection – Ensures the space meets fire safety standards.

  3. Health and Human Services (HHS) Licensing – Once fire clearance is given, we’ll submit the paperwork for final licensing approval.

Temporary Classroom Plans:

  • Preschool will be housed in the basement of Wagner Hall, divided into two classrooms using temporary walls. This space includes emergency exits and will also serve for before and after care.

  • Pre-K will use a classroom upstairs, which meets space requirements.

  • Student Safety is our top priority. We are working on logistics to ensure safe transitions between buildings, including extra staffing and weather precautions.

Meals: Lunch will be provided by the elementary school and served in the Wagner Hall kitchen area.
