Holy Trinity School Board Elects New President for 2025–2026 School Year
Fort Madison, IA — July 22, 2025 — At its July monthly meeting, the Holy Trinity School Board elected officers for the 2025–2026 school year. Chad Ward will continue to serve as Secretary, and Dan Steffensmeier will resume his role as Vice President. After three years of dedicated service as President, Ryan Kruse is stepping down, and board members have elected Zach Pieper to serve as the new President.
“It has been an honor to serve as board president for the past three years,” said Kruse. “I’ve been glad to fill this role and hope I’ve helped make some positive advancements for the Holy Trinity school system. I’m excited to hand over the reins to Zach—he’s been an active and thoughtful board member during my tenure, and I’m confident he’ll continue to carry out the mission of HTC.”
Though stepping down as President, Kruse will remain an active member of the board, continuing to lend his experience and leadership as the school system approaches several important transitions in the coming year.
Incoming President Zach Pieper expressed gratitude and optimism about his new role: “I am looking forward to continuing the success of our school system. I’m honored that the board has entrusted me with this position, and I look forward to serving our school community and helping to advance our shared goals.”
