Parent Pick-Up & Drop-Off Route Changes
Beginning Monday, August 31, 2026, parent pick-up and drop-off routes at HTC Elementary will change due to construction on the new building.
Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Parents should:
- Approach the school from the west along Avenue C.
- Turn right onto 4th Street.
- Turn left into the alley.
- Drop off and pick up students at the back entrance in the alleyway.
Parents should follow the red line on the attached map for the designated traffic route.
Bus Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Bus drop-off and pick-up will take place on the east side of the building along 5th Street.
There will be NO PARKING on 5th Street next to the school between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. This area must remain clear to allow for bus traffic.
During the School Day
Between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., parents who need to pick up a student may park along 5th Street and walk to the front entrance of the school to check their child out.
How Long Will This Last?
We anticipate these traffic changes will remain in place through November. We will keep families updated as construction progresses and notify you of any changes to the traffic pattern.
