Holy Trinity Educational Foundation
Our goal is to continue to build on the original endowment established by the Aquinas and Marquette Foundations, and grow it for the benefit of the future faculty, staff, and students of the Holy Trinity Catholic School system.
All of the initial assets from the Aquinas and Marquette Foundations have been endowed as a scholarship fund, with all of the income generated committed to tuition assistance for those families and students in need. The Foundation’s Board of Directors (listed below) are developing a strategy that will expand the giving opportunities to the Foundation. Additional endowment opportunities are planned for the areas of Teacher Benefits, Technology, Capital Improvements, and General Fund. All of the future income generated from these endowed funds of the Holy Trinity Catholic Schools Educational Foundation will support the needs of Holy Trinity Catholic Schools, for generations to come.
The Holy Trinity Catholic Schools Educational Foundation operates under the umbrella of the Community Foundation of North Lee County, an affiliate of the Keokuk Area Community Foundation. One of the advantages of this alliance is that donors to the Holy Trinity Catholic Schools Educational Foundation may be eligible for the Endow Iowa Tax Credit Program. This program offers Iowa taxpayers a 25% tax credit for gifts made to an endowed fund at a qualified community foundation such as the Community Foundation of North Lee County.
