Dinner Theater Information -

There are three great things that come to us each fall; cooler temperatures, Friday night lights, and the Holy Trinity Fall Dinner Theater. This year’s production is the delightful family comedy Leaving Iowa. If you have ever taken a summer vacation in the family auto, then this show will bring back some painfully humorous memories.

The show is narrated by 30 year old Don, played by senior Sterling Barnes, who has come home to Iowa to fulfill the final request of his father (Jason Thurman), but over some objections from his mother (Jayde Watznauer) and sister (Ava Peitz). During flashback scenes the father, mother, sister, and young Don are played by Vasin Thurman, Annabelle Scheetz, Ambrosia Dustin, and Ryan Otte. Throughout the adventures, both past and present, the family visits with grandparents (Lucy Graham and Danny Caruso), Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Phil (Elisabeth Ebbing and John Stinson), and meet some good ole down home Mid-western folk wonderfully played by Claire Graham, Reagan Garrels, Yulu Zhang, Jack Blint, Wyatt Hellman, and Rosie Strickland.

Leaving Iowa will be performed at Roling Hall on Nov. 3rd and 4th. The show is reserved seats only and reservations can be made at the Holy Trinity High School office beginning Oct. 18th.
